We are thrilled to launch our brand-new website this month, including our Product Resource Centre which gives customers access to the biggest range of telecoms products in the UK.
Our business was launched in 2020 by Co-Founders Paul Britnell and Sam Bangle to support the needs of the UK telecoms market as the nation upgrades to full fibre broadband networks. We exist to support independent Internet Service Providers with all their supply chain requirements, offering all the build materials they need for network infrastructure, from fibre cables, ducts, and nodes to access chambers. Our brand-new website has been designed to support our customers through the entire procurement process.
Our Director and Co-Founder Paul Britnell says:
“We set up Altnets at the end of 2020 against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit. Although the supply chain industry is still going through a range of challenges, Altnets is all about finding solutions for its customers.
“The company has evolved since then to focus on supporting the roll out of full fibre networks across the UK. The new website is designed to be a one-stop-shop for Independent Service Providers to find the products they need. Customers can register for free on the website to access our full product range and to set up an audit of their current supply chain with one of our trained specialists.”
The concept behind our company is to offer ISPs the ‘full package’ – product procurement, supply chain management, planning, forecasting, and scheduling. Our mission is simple: to improve efficiencies for customers by maximising return on investment and supplying them with the best quality, locally sourced products.
