We are proud to announce Altnets has been given the seal of approval from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organisation that brings together experts to share knowledge and develop international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
We are delighted to now hold certification for ISO 9001: putting your customers first. Our customers are truly at the forefront of our business; the concept behind Altnets is to offer internet service providers the ‘full package’ – product procurement, supply chain management, planning, forecasting and scheduling. Our team ensures customers are assisted throughout the whole of their telecoms build journey, from procuring and delivering small packages to 100 pallets! We understand that no two customers have the same needs – that’s why our service is completely tailored to each client.
Altnets also received certification for ISO 14001: reducing environmental impact. We are really pleased to gain this recognition as we work hard to reduce our company’s carbon footprint as much as possible. We will shortly be publishing our 2023 sustainability report, which highlights how we aim to get products from the manufacturer to the end customer in the quickest, most efficient manner possible while integrating environmental issues. To become ISO certified, we underwent an evaluation process that analysed how we go beyond the legal and regulatory requirements.
Alongside ISO, we also recently received accreditation from the Good Business Charter (GBC). This recognises responsible business practices, measuring behaviour against 10 components including environmental responsibility. Joining the GBC, alongside achieving ISO accreditation, acknowledges how Altnets is committed to reducing its environmental impact as a company.
Our Co-Founder and Director, Paul Britnell, says: “GBC accreditation has been a welcome addition to our achievements as a company; alongside this and by maintaining the ISO’s standards, we can continue to demonstrate our commitment to our environmental objectives and increase our credibility and customer confidence.”
“At Altnets, we want to showcase that our business is ethically regulated, puts its customers needs above everything else, and has a strong foundation that is stable and ready for more growth”.
